I am from Manhattan, but during the school year I live in Atlanta where I attend Emory University.
Pick one word to describe yourself and tell why it describes you so well.
Overdramatic. I overanalyze everything and make a huge deal out of little things.
What do you like most about Student Savvy? (be honest)
As someone who is not exactly financially savvy, but desperately needs to be, I think Student Savvy provides a great opportunity for young adults to find answers to their pertinent questions.
What is the best advice you've ever received?
My dad and my grandmother always say "the squeaky wheel gets the oil." No matter what situation you’re in, the best way to get what you want is to speak up.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
People who try too hard to be something they’re not.
What is your greatest athletic achievement?
Um... I played on a national volleyball team in 10th grade. Actually, scratch that. One time I bowled a 136.
What is your greatest fear?
Death/losing people I love.
You have 2 hours to kill. What are you going to do?
Nap.
Ever had a brush with fame? Explain.
When I was 12, my dad and I were featured in a special Mother’s Day edition of The New York Times Magazine. He was considered the "Father-Mother" because my mom died when I was 8. I thought it was really exciting, until the article came out and the transcribed conversation they published made me look like I couldn’t speak English... but at least my Dad became the most eligible bachelor in New York after that.
You're stuck on a deserted island. What is one possession you couldn't live without?
Jared Shwartz.
What's the strangest thing you've ever seen?
Jared Shwartz.
